This Sunday is the Oscars and I have never been more tuned into a race in my life. With so my incredible films and casts this season, it is almost impossible to pick favorites. Instead of sharing just my predictions, I wanted to share how I would’ve voted as well!

BEST PICTURE

The Nominees: Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked.

How I would Vote: Conclave

Prediction: Anora

This was honestly the hardest one to predict and (hypothetically) vote for. In my opinion the race is between Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, and Conclave. Anora won big at the Critics Choice, Conclave at BAFTAs, and The Brutalist at the Golden Globes. Conclave did take home Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture on Sunday at SAG, so it is very much so still in the race, I just have a feeling Anora will take this one.

BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE

The Nominees: Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Sebastian Stan and Ralph Fiennes

How I would Vote: Timothée Chalamet

Prediction: ?

This is MOST LIKELY going to Adrien Brody, I just am not willing to let go of my Timothée Chalamet Oscar campaign. The race is between the two of them at this point, and if Chalamet were to win he would also be the youngest winner of the award, next to Adrien. I think the only reason I’m not willing to give it to Brody is because 1. the AI controversy and 2. Chalamet’s campaign was just THAT good this season.

BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE

The Nominees: Guy Pearce, Yuriy Borisov, Edward Norton, Kieran Culkin, and Jeremy Strong

How I would vote: Kieran Culkin

Prediction: Kieran Culkin

Kieran is taking it, duh. He has won every major award this season I have nothing else to say.

BEST ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE

The Nominees: Cynthia Erivo, Karla Sofía Gascón, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, and Fernanda Torres

How I would vote: Demi Moore

Prediction: Demi Moore

If you asked me two months ago I would say Mikey, but Demi is sweeping this season, with only losing once to Mikey at the BAFTAs. I would not be SHOCKED if it went to Mikey and would still be happy if she won, I just would LOVE for this to go to Demi.

BEST ACTRESS IN A SUPPORTING ROLE

The Nominees: Monica Barbaro, Ariana Grande, Felicity Jones, Isabella Rossellini, and Zoe Saldaña

How I would vote: Ariana Grande

Prediction: Zoe Saldaña

While I do think Zoe added a lot to her film, the movie was just not for me (or a lot of people). Zoe has won every single major award this season, so if she did not take this I would be shocked.

Those are the five major categories, but I still wanted to list my thoughts on a few others.
